Privacy policy
Last updated 17 October 2026. Draft pending legal review.
This service turns what creators say in their videos and podcasts into articles that search engines and AI assistants can find. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how to delete it.
YouTube API Services
We use YouTube API Services. When you sign in with Google and connect a YouTube channel, you authorise us to read data about your channel and videos through the YouTube Data API. Google's Privacy Policy applies to that data as well: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy.
What we collect and why
- Your Google account name, email address and profile picture, from Google sign-in, to create your account. Your name is the default public name on your pages; you can change it.
- From the YouTube Data API, with your permission: your channel's ID, title, handle and thumbnail, and for each video its ID, title, description, publish date, duration, thumbnail, privacy status and Made for Kids status. We use these to show you your videos, to check that you own the channel, and to decide which videos can have a public page. We show this YouTube data only to you, in your dashboard. Public pages embed YouTube's player by video ID and do not show YouTube titles, descriptions or thumbnails.
- Files you upload (caption files and media) and podcast feeds you add, to produce transcripts and the articles we generate from them.
- For public pages: counts of page views by where visitors came from (for example a search engine or an AI assistant) and of clicks to your video. We store only daily totals, with no cookies, IP addresses or other identifiers.
How we use and share it
- Transcripts and video content are sent to Google's Gemini API to write and check articles, and podcast audio may be sent to a speech-to-text provider (Google or ElevenLabs). We delete each request at the provider once we have the result. We use paid services, under which Google does not use the content to improve its products.
- Articles you publish are public on this site and may be indexed by search engines and AI assistants.
- We do not sell your data or show advertising.
- Hosting is on Cloudflare (application, database and file storage). We may ask AI assistants (OpenAI, Perplexity) your pages' public questions to check whether they cite your pages; no private data is sent.
Cookies
We set one cookie, to keep you signed in. Public pages set no cookies of ours. The embedded YouTube player may collect data under Google's policies; we use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com).
How long we keep it, and deleting it
- We refresh or delete YouTube API data at least every 30 days.
- Disconnecting a channel in your dashboard deletes it immediately with everything derived from it: videos, transcripts, uploaded files and pages. Deleting data here does not affect anything stored by YouTube; to delete data on YouTube, use YouTube itself.
- You can also revoke our access to your Google account at any time at https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions. If we can no longer refresh your YouTube data, we delete it within 30 days.
- To ask us to delete anything else, email us (below); we act within 7 days.
